Hot off the Bench!
The Carpenter's Shop is pleased to announce. I'm doing all the dirty work for you to offer a well prepared  reclaimed material for your creative projects. I have a large stack of the finest old growth redwood. I salvaged from a 1890's homestead. That I'm putting through a series of tasks to bring out its inter beauty. Here are a few of the sample panels I've prepared to show off color and texture. This is a very limited production only 900 lft is available in the world. That'll cover approximately 200 sft. The material is 3 inches wide 5/16 thick and stocked in 8 foot lengths and has a semi gloss polymer top coat. Satin or high gloss finish is available  Contact Richard at the shop if you would like more information on how you can get some or all that's is available for your creative projects 805-423-4167

Color Uncover

While uncovering the color in this reclaimed vintage lumber. I'm discovering table tops and wall paneling.  Gee who knows what else is yet to come. It's a pretty large stack.

Big Red Door

I was introduced to this 8x20 shed found to be no longer useful at it’s former location. It’s my philosophy “All is Useful”.  Restoring rapport to the discarded for a more purposeful existence is what I do here at the Carpenter’s Shop, it’s as if there’s a responsibility put-upon me to Honor what once stood tall. Like a pioneer I made do with what I had on hand to fill the need for this Alpaca Feed Shed AKA “Big Red Door” a little reconfiguring of it’s components, some “come bys” I had on hand and  craftsman’s integrity built in. This building stands tall, alive and purposful again.
